You hate the things you don’t understand. It doesn’t matter who or what it is, nor how much you’ve thought it through logically, if you do not fully comprehend it, you are bound to hate it and if you hate it, then why try to comprehend it. It’s not an immediate hate, it’ll start as a fear, then that fear will manifest itself into anger, and that anger will slowly bubble up into a frustration that will later turn into an intense hatred. And it makes some sense, in nature animals fear things that they don’t understand and will often reject it, but I believe that man can rise above that fear and hatred and make an attempt at compassion and empathy. I believe that one day man will learn to rise above petty anger and truly make an attempt at learning about the things they don’t understand. We’ve come far enough, we know so much, but there are still conflicts and hatred. The day that man asks responds to anger with empathy and an intention to understand the frustration of another, that day, my dear boy, the world will know peace.

It’s not easy, but you have to be persistent. You might have to defeat a demon lord, or warp through several worlds. But once you do, you walk up the wizard stairs, and produce your magic key you got in the water world and unlock the chamber door.
